Princess Beatrice Opts for Statement Sleeves on a Stroll Through London. Never one to shy away from daring fashion choices, Beatrice paired her blue look with an orange coat. Princess Beatrice stepped out in an eye-catching ensemble this week. The royal and new mom was seen out and about in London wearing a pleated blue midi skirt from Zara, blue sweater, and statement jacket.
The burnt orange-hued coat, which complemented the princess’s auburn hair, featured a tie waist and puffy balloon sleeves. It’s by American designer Ulla Johnson, although it’s not currently available for sale. Beatrice completed the outfit with a pair of navy loafers from Maje and a Celine handbag.
Charlie Anderson, who has worked as a stylist for Princess Beatrice and her sister Princess Eugenie, previously told People that the royal isn’t afraid of a bold look. “I think Beatrice has a good eye; she’s been wearing some fabulous pieces over the last few years—she makes daring choices.”
The sisters are said to have started working with the stylist—under mom Sarah Ferguson’s recommendation—after they received criticism for their outfits at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding in 2011. Indeed, Beatrice’s statement-making fashions have been known to make headlines.
Vibrant prints and sky-high fascinators are just two of her recurring sartorial themes. As of late, however, the 33-year-old’s family life has more so been the topic of discussion.
In addition to her father Prince Andrew’s upcoming trial, in September, Beatrice and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi welcomed their first child together, Sienna Elizabeth. Last month, Princess Beatrice referred to her daughter as “a little rockstar” in a handwritten thank you note to fans who had wished her well following Sienna’s birth.
