In a TV appearance last year, Meghan Markle revealed what she calls her husband Prince Harry when he is at home – much to the delight of TV host James Corden who mocked the prince. Like most couples, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have a number of adorable nicknames for each other. And it seems like most others, they try to keep some of them very private.
That’s because when Meghan once let slip the adorable name she sometimes uses for her husband, it saw him mocked by one of his celebrity friends. It came last year when Harry appeared on an episode of the Late Late Show with James Corden and the pair took in a bus tour around LA. At one point, James video calls Meghan spots Harry in the background then asked him: “Haz, how is your tour of LA going?”, revealing his cute nickname.
Later Corden mocked: “Haz! I didn’t know we were calling you Haz!” cried Corden. To which Harry quipped: “Well you aren’t my wife.” Meanwhile, it’s not the only time Meghan has referred to Harry by a nickname. She also did it during an appearance on The Ellen Show, when she began to discuss the amazing bond between her children and revealed her nickname for Harry. She said: “He [Archie] loves being a big brother. Everyone tells you, someone told H and I you have one kid as a hobby, two children is parenting.”
Harry and Meghan have been living in California for almost two years after quitting as senior working royals in 2020. Since moving they have yet to receive any royal visitors in the US – until now it seems. On Sunday night, Harry was spotted at the Super Bowl and was sat alongside his cousin Princess Eugenie, 31, with the pair donning face masks. She could also have been the only royal to meet their new baby daughter Lilibet.
And according to royal expert and biographer Robert Jobson, Harry and Eugenie have always been close – and Eugenie refuses to “abandon” her cousin. ” Prince Harry and his first cousin Princess Eugenie have always been close. “Ever since they were children messing around on the slopes of Klosters, Switzerland, they struck up a loving empathy.
“Now Harry is married and settled in the US and his relationship with his father, Charles, and brother, William, is fractured, Eugenie – who is close to the Queen – is one of his only connections to the royal family. She refuses to abandon him.”
