Lili, as she is known to her parents Prince Harry and Megan Markle, will celebrate her birthday on the much anticipated Platinum Jubilee. She is the Duke and Duchess’ second child after Archie, who is now two, was born in 2019.

According to the source Megan and Harry “were very excited and couldn’t wait to share that their daughter arrived”.June 2 will be the anniversary of the Queen’s coronation in 1953.

She ascended to the throne on February 6, 1952, following the death of her father George VI at Sandringham.

However, her Coronation was delayed for 16 months to allow for a period of mourning. Lilli’s birthday will be on June 4, 2022, during the weekend of festivities to mark the Queen’s 70 years on the throne from June 2 to June 5.

Events that weekend will include Trooping the Colour, the lighting of Platinum Jubilee beacons, a service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Big Jubilee Lunch and the Platinum Jubilee Pageant.

On Lilli’s birthday, the Queen is due to attend the Derby at Epsom Downs and the BBCs Platinum at the Palace concert broadcast live from Buckingham Palace.

It is unclear if Prince Harry and his family will come to the UK for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The Duke of Sussex is seeking a judicial review against a Home Office decision to prevent him funding his own security when he is in the UK.

When they stepped back from their roles as working royals in 2020 Harry and Megan lost their taxpayer funded police protection.
