She rose to prominence after her role in the series Party of Five in the 1990s.
And on Saturday, Jennifer Love Hewitt showed she still has star-quality shine when she was seen leaving Mason restaurant in Santa Monica in a beige maxi dress that hugged all of her curves.
The actress, 40, was all smiles as she stepped out of the eatery and accessorized with a baby blue handbag and wedge heels in a tan color to coordinate with her dress.
Hewitt is currently busy with her role on Fox’s 9-1-1, but her work hasn’t kept her little ones off her mind, as she expressed to Us Weekly at the TCA summer press tour on Wednesday.
While opening up, the actress said she thinks it’s ‘great’ that her kids are seeing their mom hard-at-work.’I think that’s important to show your children that you are something other than just their parent and it’s been really nice for me to have that experience,’ the star said.
‘I do feel like I’m on a beautiful show for my daughter. My son doesn’t really understand it as much right now, but my daughter really [does].’
The Client List actress added color to her comments with a hilarious anecdote: ‘They were studying emergency situations in school the other day and she was like, “Oh, if you get in an emergency situation, just call my mommy.
‘She’s not going to help you. She’s going to send someone else to do it,” and I was like, “Thanks a lot, babe.” … She asked me, “How come you always answer the phone, but you don’t actually help anyone? The actress then reflected on the moment she had to swap mommy life for on-set life, stating that her kids were more ready for the transition than she was.
‘My kids handled it so much better than I did,’ she explained.’They were like, “Get out of here, we’re tired of your face and your stories.” … There was definitely a moment where I was like, “This should feel harder on the people that I love and spent all this time with.” But it’s what you want, right?’
