Kaley Cuoco is one of the leading comedy actors of today. Before she became the beloved Penny in The Big Bang Theory and Cassie in The Flight Attendant, she had to work hard at a young age to climb her way to the top.
The 36-year-old California native has played a lot of roles on TV. But, while her TV characters are super popular, her life off-screen is just as interesting.
Even before her fame on TV, Kaley had already been doing commercials as young as five years old. She had some minor roles on shows as well but it wasn’t until the early 2000s when the mainstream public started noticing her.
One of Kaley’s most memorable TV roles is Bridget in ABC’s 8 Simple Rules. Playing a bubbly and beautiful blonde on-screen earned Kaley many fans. But, her charm wasn’t from looks alone, she obviously had the talent to go with her bright smile. While Bridget put her on the map, it was Penny who made her a TV icon.
Cuoco shared to Entertainment Tonight that nothing will ever compare to her Big Bang experience. “It’s something I’ll have for the rest of my life. It’s something I’ll probably compare every project to, like nothing will be like Big Bang,” she said. “It just is what it is. It’s made me who I am. It’s given me so many great things and blessings and I’ll be very indebted to the show and Chuck Lorre forever.”
She had a whirlwind relationship with tennis pro Ryan Sweeting while on TBBT but they split up after just 21 months of being married. “I married someone the first time who completely changed. The person I ended up with was not the person I originally met. And that wasn’t my fault — that was his,” Cuoco explained in a Cosmopolitan interview.
Kaley’s second marriage to equestrian Karl Cook also ended in divorce. The couple, who had been married for three years, announced their split last year. “Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions… There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary,” the estranged couple said in their public statement.
Despite her heart troubles, Kaley continues to fly high. She got her first Emmy nom for The Flight Attendant, her production company is growing, and she also has several upcoming movie projects in the next years.
“I want to be a full-on girl boss. I’ve been in the business so long, and I’ve worked with the best. I don’t let people mess with me. I want to show girls out there that you can be cool, wear yoga clothes and run your own f—— company,” Cuoco explained to Cosmo.
So you just watched The Flight Attendant, and you’re wondering how the female lead Cassie Bowden, (Kaley Cuoco), keeps her body toned; we’ve got you covered! The 36-year-old actress takes her exercise as seriously as her career and has a three-year training relationship with fitness trainer Ryan Sorensen.
You can tell she doesn’t miss her workout session from how her toned body sits firmly in her outfits. Without knowing her longstanding career, you’d think she finished filming The Big Bang Theory last month. Yes, she still looks as good as she did in her 20s.
Her drive during the gym sessions earned her respect from Sorensen, and he said as much in his TODAY Health interview last year. Although Sorensen said Cuoco avoids weight training because she’s not into building muscles, the actress uses light equipment like resistance bands, battle ropes, and a stationary home bicycle.
In April last year, she shared a series of pictures showing herself working out with Sorensen on her 7 million following Instagram feed. Fans dropped encouraging comments like one @justjennyhutt, who said, “you are always doing the work @kaleycuoco it’s so inspiring.”
Merely looking at her face, you won’t guess the kind of workout the Why Him voice actress fancies. She gives off soft and pleasant vibes, but in the gym, Kaley goes hard! The 36-year-old pet lover favors strength and cardio exercise to maintain a defined figure and burn fat.
“Kaley’s favorite workouts are the ones that challenge her. Like if she has a hard time doing something at first, she’ll want to do that exercise every single time until she gets it,” says her training. Well, it looks like our favorite comedic actress loves a challenge, and her daily routine gives it to her in doses!
Kaley doesn’t hide her love for animals as she owns a multi-million-dollar ranch that houses many, including a rooster, some dogs, and 4 horses. From her Instagram page, we know that if acting fails (it won’t,) Kaley may give Olympic Equestrians a run for their medals. That’s because she occasionally rides at small-town leagues and around her ranch for leisure.
Besides fulfilling a lifelong dream, horse-riding is a good form of exercise for the quads, which explains Kaley’s enviable toned legs. Though Kaley keeps her life private, only sharing a few contents on the gram, we can tell she’s a sucker for comfort shoes.
The Emmy nominee can wear the most glamorous dress or tuxedo and pair it with sneakers or slides. Sure, she would wear heels for the red carpet, but they also come off her feet as soon as the cameras turn off. Honestly, we can’t judge her.
