The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will let their children make the decision over whether they want to be in the public eye themselves, which is a luxury Prince William and Kate’s kids haven’t been given. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have offered their kids a “choice” that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge cannot offer their children George, Charlotte, and Louis, an expert has claimed.
Whilst the Sussexes have shared relatively few snaps of their firstborn Archie and only one picture of their daughter Lilibet, Prince William and Kate Middleton cannot afford their family the same luxury.
It means Archie and Lilibet will be given the option to live their life in the public eye, whilst George, Charlotte, and Louis have different responsibilities.
PR expert Kinsey Schofield told the Express: “It is important that Prince William and Catherine’s children grow up in front of the world because the world will feel more connected to them if they do so“That is not important to Harry and Meghan.
“They want their children to make the choice of whether or not they become public figures.” After the birth of each of the Cambridge’s kids, photographs of the new addition posing with Wills and Kate were released.
On top of this, although the royal youngsters don’t appear at every public engagement, they are snapped at key events like the Queen’s annual Trooping the Colour and going to church at Sandringham over the festive period.
But despite the huge variation in how their children are raised, Schofield says Harry and Meghan do not look down on the Cambridge’s decision.
She said: “I don’t think that they frown on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s strategy when it comes to showcasing their children because Prince Harry specifically understands that the Cambridge children have much different futures than his own.”
Despite their young age, George and his sister Princess Charlotte have already started learning how they should act and what their lives will look like once they are older.
Prince William has explained to George that it is likely he will be the future King of England, whilst Archie and Lilibet are unlikely to have a top royal role.
